From there, you would have to pay a terminal fee of P10 and ride a ferry to the Bantayan Island which costs P170. Once you step out of the boat, you will arrive at the municipality of Santa Fe. From there, you will be greeted by tricycle drivers who would offer you a ride to the nearby hotels. There are many beaches to choose from once you land on the island.

 

 

The Paradise beach is a hidden stretch in Santa Fe that you can dive into if you wish to stay away from the crowd. It has an entrance fee of P50 and is open from 9 am to 5 pm. You can also take a dip located at the Ogtong Cave which is a small cave sheltering a natural pool situated at the Santa Fe Beach Club. Entrance fee costs P120 inclusive of the access to the resort’s pools. You might also want to check out the other beaches in Santa Fe such as Sugar Beach, and Alice Beach.  If you’re going to try kayaking, you can go to Obo-ob Mangrove Eco Park. It is a mangrove forest which tourists can explore by boat, kayak, or on foot. Entrance fee costs P50. Kayaks are for rent for P150 and small ships for P350. If you pass by Sts, Peter and Paul Church, you can take a stop to explore the place for it is the oldest parish church in Visayas and Mindanao built in 1580.

If you wish to heal from a break-up or want to bond with your friends and loved ones, you can spend your vacation in Kota Beach, also known as Camp Sawi. It is a famous beach in Santa Fe where the movie “Camp Sawi” was filmed. It has white sand, crystal waters, beautiful view of the blue horizon, and a not so crowded place perfect for soothing your broken heart.
