The Cebu Ocean Park
For the first time in Visayas and Mindanao, they will be opening their first marine park, Cebu Ocean Park. Aside from being the first in those regions, Cebu Ocean Park is now the largest Oceanarium in the Philippines, topping it’s’ Manila counterpart. According to Cebu Sealife Park Inc., Cebu Ocean Park is 2,000 sqm. larger than Manila Ocean Park, rising on a 1.5-hectare area that can accommodate 3,000 people at any time.
With the size of the ocean park, the main attraction would be the deep tank lagoon with 360 degree view with 4000 cubic meters and a water depth of 7.2 meters. The park will also house 200 different animals; mainly aquatic animals, birds, insects and reptiles. Aside from the lagoon, there are other attractions that visitors can enjoy.
